Sample Commercial Bill

Supply, transmission, and distribution costs along with a monthly service charge make up the total cost of your electricity or natural gas. In the past, all of these charges were "bundled" on your utility bill. However, now that the price of supply is deregulated, you are seeing changes on your billing statement -- more detail is provided to help you make informed decisions in the new competitive energy industry. Once you have selected a supplier, your supplier may choose to include their charges on your utility bill, or they may choose to send you a separate bill for the supply and transmission products they provide.
